Counter strike

Counter Strike Source , despite been nothing new, was a great fps. Is there another game in the pipelines ? Looked on google etc but just get bombarded with that modded version that was released for Japan arcades.

There will probably be a new one when valve make a new engine.

Borderlands is as far as I've seen single player and 4 player co-op, so not really in the same league.

Date = March 1st 2008....

No CS2 yet, however it does keep cropping up in interviews. I think someone in valve asked people if they would prefer a CS2 or Portal 2. Out of the two I'd say go with Portal 2.

Personally I don't see the point in Valve releasing another Counterstrike until they make Half Life 3, and then base it on that new engine like CSS is based on Half Life 2's engine (Source).

Maybe so but counter strike could do with an upgrade to keep fans happy. Portal was a good game, but imo not in the same league as cs. Lets just hope they focus on both. Its also been allmost 5 years since a new half life, not using the same engine as 2. Its been too long
