Lies

It has LAN multi as well as Online

Me and my mate are having loads of disconnect issues online trying to play coop so will probs end up having abit of a lan.

Ok maybe my answer should have been a bit more specific. I was talking about split-screen which is what I assumed the poster was in about :)
 
does anyone know if you play on co-op are ALL achievements earnable by everyone or just the host??
 
Well, my order on a site named the opposite of pause still says "packing" so prob will be a no show till friday :(

bummer really as I could have just bought it from a retailer in town and got reward points for the same price.

bit miffed really as I paid at half 11...

its been quite good so far, i managed to find a few jeeps and a helicopter on mission 1 :) just wish i could move the camera when in external view so i can look around as i drive/fly :/

Good question, i'd also like to know the answer to this :)

Just got off a session of MP and it's not been the best of experiences to tell the truth. First game was infiltration where the squad just ran off to do theyre own thing instead of defending the outpost. We lost that match unsurprisingly.

The second match was an annihilation game (TDM basically) and this was comprised of me finding the odd player to shoot but mostly slaughtering the AI who were just sat in a circle in a massive open space. Not exactly riveting fun :(
 
This game is a let down for me personally, considering the massive hype/delays it underwent.

It plays like last some last-gen affair, with graphics/glitches to boot. Loading times are absolutely brutal. Level design is tedious and lacking any real thought for gameplay. And multiplayer is garbage, not counting co-op.

Little wonder they didn't do a pre-release demo.
 
I got to mission three on hardcore last night with co op.

Achievements for the missions do work for all players in the game.

The second mission was so intense when my friend and I lost our squad mates and we had to exfil. Get to the top of a ridge and all I could see for miles were trees, mountains and lakes.

I love this game.

You can go 3rd person if you not playing hardcore. Just click one of the stick in.


Anyway played coop on hardcore last night and it was the most fun I'll ever had on my 360. Just incredible. MP seems to have its problems and seems buggy ATM but they'll get that patched ASAP I'm sure. Doesnt bother me though as I wont be touching it for quite a while.

loading times are great if you install to HDD on the 360 I thought they were pretty good considering the size of the world
