Hi all,

This budget is max less would be better

Looking for CPU, MOBO, RAM and CPU cooler,

I have 260 Gtx and will be keeping to new Nvidia 300 comes out (i dont want a ati please dont hate me)

Looking for something that can will play games... and really that is my all. Been looking at I7 920 but dont know if waste.

looking to voer clock to 4ghz and want something with SLI

If you're looking to oc to 4ghz, I would consider going i7.
Obviously there's plenty of choice when it comes to ram & coolers - You could spend a bit more and go for a Noctua or the Corsair H50.

I know I've put a retail 920 in - that's because it's on this week only at just £5 more for the 3 year warranty, up to you though.

EDIT And I'd have to agree with Gunni, after looking at the rig in your sig that tricore phenom should cut through games fine - The i7 wouldn't give you much of an in-game performance boost at all, certainly not enough to warrant a £500 system overhaul imho :confused:

i'd stay with what you have for a while , try to last at least 6 months and then properly upgrade
 
just spoke to mate... he said same as you that to leave cpu and just get new nvidia card when they come out or a 295 version instead of sli
