Anybody got one? Anybody tried one?

I have read the spec on their site and it looks pretty cool :) You can even save settings to the mouse !!

Steelseries release many mouse products every year, each one supposedly better than the next - pragmatically however they all have a few things in common;

1) they all get beaten by optical mouse engines (such as Intellimouse 3.0) for the originally intended purpose - precision, tracking, versatility, speed etc.
2) they are all gimicky
3) Ergonomically foul
4) Steelseries is run in a flat in central copenhagen with intentions no other than to rid gamers of their hard earned cash and tempt them with yet another rushed, indifferent (to the rest) and superficial product.
5) Steelseries made their name by releasing quality mousepads back in the day, now however they are stinky capitalists.

don't mean to troll or anything ; )

seldNofSparta you sound like somebody i know.................:p

You posted here reccommending the brand?? :(

I'd start by buying a decent mouse

from there grab yourself a decent mousepad/surface; steelseries and razer offer some really nice ones. They cost between 10 and 30 however for playing something like CoD4 you'll notice the difference ; )

Why the change in opinion??

Your trying to be clever and have completely misquoted.. he said get a new mouse then get a new mousepad .. eg steelseries and razor do nice mousepads.

So how this is relevant to him supposedly changing his mind.... he didnt.. he just said get a good mouse and heres 2 companies that make decent mousepads

No, im not trying to be clever and no i didn't mis quote??

I am talking about the "BRAND" as i stated in my post??
I have been looking at them, before investing, he Recommended the "BRAND" in a previous post and now he is saying that they don't produce good products and he is not keen, i am asking why this is, if there is a major reason then i want to know before making a purchase :)
Im not picking up on specific products just the brand in general.

If you were looking at buying a Logitech product and in the past somebody was saying "Look at Logitech they make good product" and now they are saying that they dont then surely you would want to know what experiences they have had to make them have this view?? It could be something significant to make me change my mind.

Nothing clever or misquoted about that is there??
