They do seem to take quite long with deliveries nowadays, maybe the company is getting too big for it's own boots too fast? Anyway no worries eh? You got yours for substantially cheaper in the end, even if it did mean you had to venture out in the cold at midnight on the duke when you were..... ill ;)

I am genuinly ill you cheeky sod! lol... But, limbs still working so am able to venture out to pick up the game :D

As for the smoke, ew, did not taste nice at all :(

Anyways, I am well and truely stuck on this game at the moment, been trying for the last 40 mins to finish the last bit of mission 5, extraction of chopper crew to extraction point, enemies closing in from all sides... 500m run to extraction point, no matter what i do whether it be stay and fight them all off or leg it, the crew either dies resulting in mission failure or i die resulting in another smoke break... this game is defo going to be the death of me!

So bloody tough! There must be some key that eventually will sink in and make this game that much easier lol

not that far in yet (i'm trying to spread out my gaming time) but can't you set 2 of your men to defend where they are and hold off the enemy then you and the other member can leg it? :p


just completed the first actual mission myself, died twice thanks to some well concealed enemies and mission failed because i took to long to assault and destroy the radar but i got there in the end. i can't beleive i was going to avoid buying this game after all the bad news it's been getting, glad that a certain supermarket reduced the price or i wouldn't have gotten it. well worth the money :)

Are you using your team to full effect? I haven't really had any trouble yet apart from one bit on level 7 or 8 where I ran out of ammo.
 
It was strange. While I was waiting for you to try and join a couple of randomers came into the coop lobby


Ugh, I cant seem to get the hang of the command system.

Tips anyone?

yeah, it can't be a bit clunky, i'm still a bit lost as to where it all is in there and keep pressing the wrong submenu on occasion, this game could have really done with some voice recognition stuff

I had this problem last night and managed to only ever connect to 2 games in the space of about 30mins.

Half the time it didn't even refresh the servers list with anything!:(
 
Been having trouble connecting with a few of you guys to get some coop play in, can't connect to parties or anything.... very odd, maybe the network is slowing down due to over use?

Or a game bug?

Anyways, I just finished mission 5, took a slow approach (hours!) and started from the beginning of the mission, as usual, done all the secondary, then before i went to rescue the pilots, I nicked one of the enemies marksmen rifles and basically went round with my squad killing and sniping everyone in the area, then extracted them... Guess it was more realistic therefore made the mission easier :D

Loving this game so much atm...

i think it might be a bug with the game, i sent you a message about trying to party up in the dash earlier this afternoon as i was unable to party up with you or squark ingame. but i'm not sure if that went through either...

Well being Chinese myself can't say the music is odd to Mrs in the slightest, its just traditional opera. It is annoying and actually quite creepy at times though!

PS. Still no other ps3 owners on here got this yet? :D

Funniest moment I had so far is on the tutorial mission where I decided I had a massive case of cba and decided to get in the passenger side of the jeep and get one of my squad members to drive a bit up the road. Did all this in map mode and left it that way. A few moments later whilst I'm flicking through the manual I hear sirens going off! Turns out the plum drove us off the side of a cliff and into the sea :eek:

Of course he got punished.... by C4

got a bit frustrated on proper mission 2 where you have to kill the sam sites around the village so your choppers can come in and in, me and my group of AI retards take out the first one fine, and then get swamped so, instead of doing what i tell them and pulling back they decide trying to win a shot out against 10-15 guys is a great idea, i honestly feel like i'm taking a group of mentally handicapped out on a day trip :(

Well the 12am green store trip was a huge sucsess!! got 3x copies (for mates also) so all win , just got home from work so gonna install to HDD and have a rumble!! :D
