Better graphics on PC or Xbox 360?

My PC can play Call of Duty: World at War on highest settings. :)

I was wondering whether highest settings on the PC version would be as good as the graphics on the Xbox 360 version (with HD TV)?

Well, on 360 it'll be rendering at 1280x720 for a start, and PCs by now are easily powerful enough to look better than a 360 and run faster too.

Technically the PC should produce superior visuals, however as that video shows, the console sometimes can gain an advantage through the lower res and blurring etc. such as the trees you see in the distance during the tank scene - they look much better on the 360.

Pc has better. But the hardware needed to achieve that small improvement is exponentially more expensive. The users choice at the end of the day.

p.s

I don't think it's an obvious troll, just someone naive. Or just an extremely subtle troll.

Your signature breaks the rules.

As for the graphics - depends on your PC spec.

Why does someone asking a genuine question have to be a troll? For someone who doesn't game all waking hours I found it quite an interesting question to which I didn't know the definitive answer.

quite a intresting video, there doesnt seem a lot of differance at the the lower resultions all though pc is slighty better. Whats also intresting is he doesnt have a monster pc and all the games hes recorded hes using fraps whcih doesnt help with performance.

The main differance is at the lower resultions is the frame rate consoles struggle to knock out 30 fps on most games, where any half decent gaming pc should be able to handle the same games at 60 fps at the same resultion.
The other differance is the more blury textures which dont seem as clear as on pc.

But at the high resultions pc blows consoles away imo.

Your sig might be too long, I'd look at sorting that out.

Call of Duty: World at War will look better on a PC

It all depends on what your personal opinion is on looking good.

The PC will edge out the consoles in pure graphical ability (depending on the game) due to the AA/AF and general power that it can throw at a game as other have said.
But sometimes can these be too good? Do you want these crisp clean graphics all the time, there are times where that murky lower res looks better IMO.
