Can the cineworld unlimited cinema card be canceled after a month?

I have seen that you can pay for the cineworld unlimited card costs either monthly for £13.50 per month, or annually for a one off payment of £162. I was wondering if I was to pay monthly and then find I don't like the membership anymore after say a few months, can I cancel, or if I do cancel the cineworld unlimited card account will the direct debit monthly amount keep being taken from my bank account?

I think with the monthly option there's a minimum 12 month period before you can cancel.

can't remember when I signed up, but i'm 90% sure it's 12 month minimum, as most contracts are

The card is defo worth the money imo!

Pro's.

1) Saves you money if you go more than 3x times a month.

2) you get there film's newsletter with disccounts at various shops & magazines & get invited to exclusive showings of films.

3) If you go and see an animation or any film (£9.20 - animation) (£7 - Film) and either of what you watch is bad and you think omfg and walk out you've not really lost anything.

Con's

You can't book a ticket - but i just go in early as i can on the day and get them there and then

..

i'm sure other people with the card can add to this

Yup, it's 12 month min period according to the T & C, there are exceptions though:

Legitimate Grounds: if you are unable to use your Unlimited Card for a continuing period of at least one month due to medical reasons or because your permanent address moves to an address outside the UK or Ireland.

As Mp4 said it is defo worth it if you love films and go more than 3 times per month.

I signed up a few months ago. I wasn't a massive film go-er but I now find I easily see at least 3 films a month. If you don't just catch up the next month ;-)

Thats odd, i get them every month insted of getting there magazine save on paper etc

I go mainly with friends , but hell if i have nothing better to do then go watch a film on my own!

why is it sad?

why go fishing on your own ? is that sad?
