If you download the game and copy it to a DVD, can you install it and get it working without using the EA software? Do the CD-KEYS they give out work with the retail versions? In particular I'm asking about Dead space and mirrors edge as I have them downloading now. Basically I want to know if I can still play once I've downloaded and EA try to correct their mistake.

Even though we agreed to those terms and conditions, does it still affect your statutory rights? Surely if you bought something online and it was delivered the company can't demand it back if a price was agreed and sale made successfully?

Bah. Well I took advantage of the 4 games for £5 glitch anyway. If they come back wanting more or trying to take more cash out then I will just tell them they can have their digital games back. I only wanted a legit copy of burnout anyway.

Just bought Mass effect, tempted with Dead Space. Is it any good? I am hoping Mass effect will keep me occupied for 2 weeks before I start my job. Can't complain about the prices though, may even get Tiger woods.
 
Do i have to be connected to the net to play these games?

Tempted to get C&C 3 as i'm driving to Portugal tomorrow and wouldn't mind something for the ferry!
 
Theres something wrong with the EA store checkout, add Dead Space, Mercenaries 2 and Mirrors edge to your basket.

Go to checkout and it says £0.00

You don't have to pay for em and you can download em straight away :D
 
bah the only game i want is mass effect and its impossible to get it for free! lol. Might buy it for the 3.75 thing though.

Just done that. Although for some reason it automatically downloads everything to my C drive and I haven't got enough space on there and I can't find any sort of option bar in the EA manager?

Right click on the tray icon and select settings, then change the cache location.
