Which laptop speakers for around £100?

Hi folks, as per title I'm looking for a decent set of laptop speakers for around the £100 mark to play my music on and watch the odd dvd. I've been looking at the Accoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 or the Creative Gigaworks T40 II. I'm also looking to get an external sound card for my lappy as well to get the most from the speakers. If anyone has any ideas then I'd love to hear them.

What about a sound card to go with these paul? Would it be worth it?

I'd say go for M-Audio's AV 40's. If your going to listen mainly to music anyhow as they're a great set for the price!

Or go for the quieter/smaller versions if you prefer them - AV 30's/20's

Those are lovely looking speakers. Have you used them before and should I get a sound card to go with these?

If you did go for a laptop soundcard I'd get Xonar U1 or perhaps a 'pure' USB DAC.

Anything X-Fi is cut-down compared to the desktop versions.
