Fruit machines

Certain items on the reels have numbers next to them, you normally either need to get them to add up to either 4 or 8+, this can be done in one go, or by holding them.

Depends what and were you play. Were iam from the is no limit on loss or win. Jackpots are like a couple of grand, thats even if you play in your chippy

They're all completely different.

One thing they do all have in common though: they pay out when they want to pay out. What you do has little effect, its just luck if you're in front of it when it wants to pay out.

majority of ones in pubs round here are the 70 pound jackpot ones. Mainly you want to either get 3 of a certain icon to get on the features or some of the icons on the reels will have numbers on them normally you want them to add up to 4 or 8 to get on the board.

Got two at work at the minute, monopoly and deal or no deal, took 75 out the deal or no deal one last sunday after only putting 4 quid in it. Next day my boss plays the monopoly one and ends up wasting 60 quid in it.

They are nasty horrible machines, do not play them lol!

Payout is around 70%ish in this country (adjustable by the operator of the machine)
Machines have 2 hoppers for the cash you put in. The top hopper holds the 'float' and this is where your winning come from. If the float is low following a payout the machine will keep taking your money until it's full again.
The bottom hopper is where all the excess cash goes.
If you dont hear your inserted coins fall right to the bottom of the machine then you aren't going to win anything.
Even then it's computer controlled when a payout occurs. You must understand you're playing a computer (with a motherboard and processor etc) not a mechanical machine.
You cant beat a computer, the only winner is always the machines operator.

How can people tell when they are going to pay out though? I know people who do this, they wait and watch machines then they say its going to pay out soon, they hop on and win jackpot.

I've seen it done, my mates wins hundreds a week off them, i dont know how

In blackpool the locals watch the holiday makers, wait for them to put lots of money in then when they go to get change go on the machine and then win lots. Fruit machines also follow a certain pattern watch and learn this pattern and you just need to wait till enough money has gone in before it pays out again.
Some people have been known to make large sums of money out of fruit machines using these methods. Also 8 years back there was a black box of trickery that you could get that somehow sent a surge into the machine and triggered a payout although this has no doubt been countered.
