Probably something on TOTP2 back in ye-olde days.

Annoying really but I can't help it, if I hear a song I like I'll play it until I really don't get anything from it anymore. Subconsciously memorise the entire thing and playing it any further is just annoying as I know the path of the tune.

Still, ask me what the song was called or even the name of the group and I couldn't tell you. I'm never interested in either.

The songs which last for me are ones I'm NOT hugely interested in when I hear them. I have no desire to play them on a loop so it keeps something for the next occasion I hear it.

/deviance from OP

Absolutly no idea.

Although I just saw an advert for the Grestest hits by Chris Rea so I am listening to some of that right now.

first song I can properly remember liking was sadly enough Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice, used to love it when I was 3 or whatever age, still hold an embarrassing place in my heart >.<

I am the one and only! You cant take that away from me!!! :D

(Chesney Hawkes, I was about 10)

My father tells me that the first song I ever told him I liked was Friday I'm in Love by the Cure.

I also used to play The Joker by Steve Miller, Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Space Oddity by Bowie constantly on our record player at home.

So them.

hehe some people showing their ages already ;)

Indeed :)

Paint it Black by the Stones. I would have been around six but that and Paperback Writer by The Beatles got my attention. I kind of recall seeing Nancy Sinatra singing These Boots Are Made For Walking and liking that too.
