Another boring thread for most of you, sorry! Following on from my last post about doing up my parents garden for them, I could use some more advice, this time with destroying a bomb shelter!
Up the back fo their garden is this mental old Anderson shelter which was put up sometime during WW2. Its main body comprises of pretty thick gauge corrugated steel sheeting which is set in a concrete base going over a meter down into the soil
As i dont have a digger to hand i'm going to have to try and cut the steel around the base then just cover it over with soil.
Looking for advice on what would be the best way to cut this steel sheeting? My first thought was to use an angle grinder but as the corrugations are so deep it would be pretty difficult. Reckon a powerful jigsaw with a metal cutting blade would be up to the job?
cheers!
