game starts tonight at 6.30pm
have 20mb virgin connection have had 8 players so far with no lag
join hamachi channel where i will let u kjnow everytime a new game lobby opens
will inform you on hamachi channel every time lobby opens (LOBBY OPENS TONIGHT AT 6.30 )
network id ofponline

to join start ofp:-
goto lan option and join by i.p and enter 5.92.174.108
how to setup a server:-
(1)setup your router to forward port 9105/udp
(2)find out your ip address
(3)go to LAN option
(4)create a server
(5)inform your clan m8ts/buddys of your ip
(6)Direct connect to your ip in the LAN option (not online)
(7)play the game

R thread turns into a game bashing thread - LOLsays on the box :-
up to 8 players 0.5mbps or greater
up to 32 players 3mbps upload or greater
so should be good for about 12 players
8 worked fine
Down not up surely?
ADSL2+ stuff like Be/O2 is 1.3Mb up, which isn't too bad.
Don't know of any ADSL offering 3 up though, maybe SDSL but that's not exactly the sort of thing you'd have at home to play games on.
People around the country get 50Mbps but that is DOWNLOAD.
Why dont people read anymore instead of wading in feet first?
Fair point.
I think SDSL would give equal download/upload does it not? Although as you say, not the sort of thing you expect to find in the average persons home.

I've got 2.5mbit and my adsl2+ connection with annex M isn't the best ever...
That said, it's still far far better than the majority, as you say.

My connection has been dodgy lately so atm the upstream only connected at 2342 kbps :/ (downstream ~17mbit for stability). Normally it's stable at 23/1.3 or 20/2.5.
Obviously the usual rules for overheads on adsl lines apply.
