Was probably the 90bhp one - if it was a 150/130 or even a 110 chances are he didn't "beat" it.

Yep. Only seen maybe 2 T-Sports around Norfolk since they've come out. Seen more NSX's! Most likely because I don't live in a city. Hell, there are more Aston Martins been driving around Thetford!

And yes I know the bar has been raised for powerful hatches, I guess my definition of a hot hatch is different from most of you - I'd put Swift Sports in there too. I'm likely to have as much/more fun in a performance version of a little hatch like this than most run-of-the mill models that are faster in a straight line.

How do you have a proper 'race' on a Motorway? Golf TDI drivers are normal people why would they race a Yaris for no real reason?

some people have made this thread a joke. All i wanted was peoples opinions and for people not to judge me just the car but some of you couldnt do that. Just keep harping on about how slow it is rather than what it looks like tbh think im gonna start the thread again cause its got out of hand

But surely by saying your car is slow they are judging it?

Just take the rough with the smooth, its what its like here.

Accept your car for what it is, it's not a hot hatch. It's a lukewarm shopping trolley. I don't mean that in a harsh way but it is. It looks good and it far better than some of the crap on the streets.

All i said is that its not a Hot hatch cause its not big enough. How many cars the size of mine do 0-62 in under 9 secs without a turbo? well i can only think of a few new ones like the C2 VTS, Saxo VTS and VTR, Corsa, Swift sport and Polo GTi as well as the Lupo. Im not including older cars like 205 or Renualt 5 thats all.

If it has a hatchback and it's fast, it's a hot hatch. Regardless if it's the size of a matchbox or the QE2.
