There ya go.

Can I carry on with my opinions now?

That yaris makes me sad

Are you not already depressed owning a clio?

Check out the speed of these things, admittedly this is down a massive 2bhp so you will have to use your imagination a little.

this thread delivers

not tempted to chop a coil out the springs to get it down a bit more? what dampers are they on?

dont be daft and they are on standard dampers

Also that vids from a phase 2 Yaris not the phase 1 like mine and that is a slower car but not by much. Plus 40-80mph runs a for turbos cars. So its a tad bit stupid you putting that up

Not at all what I buy but I think they look pretty good and subtle.

Wouldn't stick coilovers on them in a million years, however unless theres problems getting the ride height right with other kits.

dont be stupid:
as in its already molten lava level low already and could not even possibly go lower

or dont be stupid, you wouldnt ever have put decent dampers on

If your car was faster by not much thats still pretty slow.
On motorways you would have a hard time putting any car to shame sorry.
Stick a turbo or supercharger and that may be different.

I don't really find either car offensive, but I do have to laugh at malc laying the bait and then moaning when someone actually takes it! :D

it could be lower cause its not that low tbh another 20mm would be as low as you could go withour damaging it

I beat a Golf TDi the other day on the motorway and he was trying

I see this sort of nonsense day in day out, I rarely see another Mondeo ZS...what's more "individual"?

Not sure about you but I see less Yaris T-Sports than Mondeo Zetec Ss?

It's a nice little car standard. Nippy enough and likely (not sure) to be fun to drive. The mods on this one are fairly tasteful, can't see much wrong with it.

As for whether it's a hot hatch or not - 205 GTI 1.6, 115bhp, 0-60 is 8.9 seconds, same as this. Hell, even the 1.9 with a cat was only 8.1 seconds and that's with 80's lack of safety features too. Admittedly it's pushing it a bit now but even so, a hot hatch is more than performance stats.

Wouldn't have one myself mind, way too small.

Once tuned one up on Gran Turismo 3 to 240bhp, beat a 1000bhp Dodge Viper. Good times.

BTW - I was jesting a little earlier - I actually think they are both decent looking cars for what they are.

Just stop saying they are quick :-P

Are you sure? They sold very few Mondeo Zetec-S, partly as a result of the curious decision to offer it only as a V6 in petrol form (And a TDCi diesel) rather than the smaller petrol engines as was the case with the earlier Mk2.

They are pretty rare Mondeos. Mk2's are similarily rare but only because they were produced for just one year before being discontinued.

Must be where I live - I've seen a fair few Yarises but I've only seen a ZS a few times (same car at that)

Neither are particularly rare or individual, that was my point.

Also, sticking on stuff from halfords and saying that makes it individual is nonsense - I see hundreds of cars (mostly the usual suspects, Saxos, Corsas etc) with the same modifications, all because they want to stand out

Its a good starter car for someone of your age and its nice to see you are putting a lot of love into it...... but no its not a fast car, my misses loves hers... course that means its a girls car to me

id debadge it as well

What made a hot hatch "Hot" in the 80's can't be used to judge if a car is hot ourdays, back in the 70's & early 80's a supercar had around 300bhp, not so super our days.
