Why are you in this thread? You've discussed in great detail how much you dislike the D+D ruleset and hardcore RPG games, and that you prefer hack and slash see through types. Since this game is a revisit to hardcore role play by a company famous for D+D based nerdpg's, I cant help but think you're just trying to upset people :/

It's a modified D&D ruleset created by bioware, it will be very similar I think with there own customisations. As far as I'm aware! (Safety net)

No MP at all unfortunately. I'm still undecided whether this is a good thing or a bad thing because it was super fun in NWN and some of the persistent worlds were amazing.

As regards the CGI trailer...come on, were some of you expecting those sort of graphics in the game? You might be dissapointed Its a nice trailer but thats all it is...

Plenty of actual gameplay vids out there to see what it really looks like. Not that graphics are the key for me, these sort of games the gameplay is far more important imo. There is a 20 min vid out there on Giant Bomb which shows you it as it really is. Even tho the the guy playing sucks

It is based on D+D. Operative statement: "based on".

You stated you dont like RPG's "based on" or using the D+D system, preferring games such as WoW with it's simple "hit, do X damage". That's Hack'n'slash.

Yep! I presume you can port it in once the game's released too. Excellent idea, since I usually spend ages mucking around in character generation before I actually start playing.
