its from the mission editor in the pc version(i know i know, wrong forum etc)

i only have the pc version to mess around in the editor. i play the console version 99% of the time though.

Glad you got a game, even if it was a shirt one. Wish I knew what this game issue was as it would be good to get more people in.

Hope I can get through the last 6 missions by Thursday night.
 
To save me reading 33 pages of stuff can anyone sum up for me how they found the game? I was really looking forward to it as I used to play the original quite a bit, but looking at the videos and screenshots that are out these days it looks quite terrible.

The graphics and physics seem mediocre at best, from looking at the screenshots and the handling of vehicles it just looks like they took the original engine and made the graphics better, but nowhere near the standard of current gen games.

Buggy, unfinished but the best XBOX live experience I've had with my mates on coop hardcore. Literally incredible. But my taste in games doesnt really match the norm. Seems a bit of a marmite game, if your not really hyped to buy it I'd avoid.

Rent it first. Won't go into details again about why I am not keen overall, but I am sorry I purchased it.

The co-op is pretty good on hardcore co-op, but overall the game is about a 6/10.

But some love the game, as might you. So definitely rent it rather than write it off.
 
Hehe... just been on Codemasters forums to see if there was any news on patch...

So many immature people around. Why is it that people just can't accept that people feel differently about things. Those that hate this game and those that love it all going at each other, rather than jsut accpting that people have different opinions?

Anyway, Zensuji, and news on the patch? Couldn't see anything there.

And if anyone is struggling for ammo, keep pressing LT while you reload your gun. Bingo! Free ammo.
 
hi peeps, Got the game over the weekend and will say it's pretty good so far. However i have a problem. Went to play co-op and it seems you cannot save your game progress? This is SO annoying as played for hours last night and lost it all!
Am hoping that it's me doing something wrong...any thoughts?
 
Its a difficult game or maybe i'm not use to it. i play on normal mode.

From my experience of co-op online my mate just hosts a game and selects the last mission we tried and away we go. Not sure if it saves checkpoints in missions though (of course this only applies to 'Normal' mode).

All the difficulty levels are exactly the same, it's not like some games that scale up enemies with more health etc. The only difference is as you turn up the difficulty more aids dissapear until they are completely gone in Hardcore mode, plus no checkpoints so if you die in the last fight of the mission, guess what? That's right back to the beginning you go son.
 
MeAnBoy, thanks for your reply. I have been reading that people are missing the game save point (greyed out circle on the map), but i am sure that we hit these during our game, even watched 'checkpoint Reached' flash up on screen :confused:
