Anyone else get this? Takes me about a week or longer of faffing about with the seats and distances etc.. before i actually find my perfect driving position, having a new car now made me remember the drama the last one caused me. Friends and family know not to mess with me seats as i even don't move it when i hoover the car :D Am i alone in my OCD? :D

i know when i first started driving the clio i seemed to keep moving the seat about, got it just right now though

Even after my mum has been in the car and the seat is right forward i can just slide it whilst stood outside the car(else i cant sit in the seat :() and get it to exactly the right position :p

I'm forever adjusting my seat, the ideal position adapts to driving style, if I'm wearing a thick coat or not, and so on.. No such thing as a single 'ideal' position.

I cannot decide whether the knee support on my car should be open or closed - I switch between the 2 and in between settings too but can never decide blargh!

I'm a little different, i drive without a coat and actually am sad enough to have a pair of 'driving shoes' (Timberland yacht shoes lol) always in the car. and a spare pair in the boot :o

Even I won't go that far :D

Heck if I could I'd drive barefoot! I like feeling what I'm stepping/walking on or as close as possible :p

My GF sets the seat to 1/4" away from the steering wheel and backrest at 90 degrees to the seat base everytime she drives my car so I've got used to having my seat at the "not quite right but it will do" position.

I moved the seat in the Alfa the other week, spent ages tweaking it back and fourth until I got it right again. Probably all in my head.

I spent the first two weeks in the Legacy playing with all the different settings and finally got one I was comfortable with. It'd be interesting to see if it's actually any different to the position I started from. Probably not :o

I finally adjusted my crotch straps to something I like now, no longer feels like I've just been having a row sham bow battle every time I drove the thing!

Driving position is now pukka!

Took me ages to get sorted in my mondeo due to the electric seats there are numerous different positions, but now i'm sorted its perfect!
