head down to HSBC on monday and open an account or a 2nd account if you already bank with them, they promise to get you up and running in 7 days. that includes you pin, cash card, cbook and one other item that eescapes me right now, if they fail to deliver any of them within 7 days they pay you £10 per item, working out to be £30 - £50 depending on what you ask . with the postal strike that's a gimmie if you head down on monday :D

i set an account up for my football team today and he said it should be a gimmie that i get £40, so that came from the horses mouth

I remember a while back Abbey National did an interest-free, no-charges £50 overdraft if you opened up a basic current account, so I opened an account, drew out £50 and never used it again, I think I still have the details somewhere but it's still sitting there with balance at -£50 :p

Surely they would just deliver anything via dhl, they do a similar thing to post office guaranteed next day delivery for an extra £1.

Not free money though, is it? You owe them £50.

So when they finally decide to close the account, you'll still have to pay them £50 :)

and when he doesn't pay, he'll be blacklisted and it'll affect his credit rating, and they'll get the Debt-Collection-Boyz onto him, who are legally allowed to break into your property and relieve you of your possessions these days. :D

a little ott there lol

Trust me £50 'when' they close the account isn't going to break the bank, lol - your concern is appreciated though :p

Then after living on the streets, injecting heroin to dull the painful existence, I'll get the bad AIDz and die a lonely death, all because of that pesky £50

Fixed :p
