I can't decide if I should get the game or not now. I assume big 32+ player servers with low pings are a thing of the past? Why are they doing this! Operation Flashpoint and now this.

Well, if the host of the game you get put into is some guy with a Celeron and 1GB of ram on a talk talk connection, you'll be lucky to have 4 people playing lag free.

So let me get this right? You won't be able to play this online (other than people doing their own servers)? What is their excuse? Over inflated price plus shoddy treatment - will this not encourage more piracy?

He does have a point, XBox WAS designed for gaming ..... at 5fps at crappy resolution with a crappy gamepad (for FPS games at least)

I don't and haven't owned a console since the N64, so this P2P matchmaking is new to me - does this mean that the multiplayer is going to be like L4D??
If so - that sucks!!

This is why Treyarch should have done it, they actually care about PC gamers. The amount of post support on World at War is great, loads of free map packs and such. I think that Treyarch will bring back dedicated servers, if not for the COD series will be ruined

WaW was a crappy game though, compared to MW1 at least.

You're right. I don't like COD5 at all but the amount of support Treyarch has given to the PC community is great. They've done more than IW has for sure.
Just a shame I don't care for the game.
