Just watching one of my favourite James Bond Films on TV. Live and Let Die. Has some of the best stunts. Especially the crodocile run. Its one moment you would would never believe you would see in reality, its something out of a cartoon made real and plausible. If they did it now it would be rubbish, stupid cgifiied.

Anyone else got any particular moments that stand out for them in Bond films?

(upon meeting Pussy Galore) - I musht be dreaming.

edit - They used a fair bit of CGI in Die Another Day. Bond films should never use CGI. It doesn't matter how bad the last movie was they'll always get funding for another one. The stories are stupid, Bond is a perv and there's about as much smut as you can cram into a film with a 12 certificate. But you should always be able to count on a Bond movie to have some spectacular stunts.

Saying that his relationship with Solitaire borders on abusive.

Another one, Jaws tearing up the Van in The Spy Who Shoiked me.

This is easily my favourite bond scene - silly, marvellously tongue in cheek and very entertaining.

The most hilarious, yet perhaps unintentionally, moment in bond history is the Spy Who Loved Me champagne ending :D

driving on train tracks with no rubber on tyres -not sure which film
fighting on the outside of a plane (with no parachute maybe?) -not sure which film

one thing I found stupid was in Die Another Day, the invisible car. they should have given it the same effect that Predator has. semi visible, it would be a bit more plausable

That was basically the turning point for bond. It had got so silly that even the audience wasn't enjoying it.

Sadly, Hollywood decided to unbalance the scales far too much in the opposite direction, removing all of the tongue in cheek, entertaining bond and replacing him with a ultra-serious hero. Sure, a shift in the balance was needed, but not this far. Casino Royale was great because it was fresh, but as we can see with Quantum of Solace, this is a style that is going to get old fast as it simply tries to do everything that the Bourne series has already done (10x better).

There can only be one. Honey Ryder coming out of the sea in Doctor No.

That set a bar that was never beaten.

The parkour/free running scene across the building site in Madagascar at the start of Casino Royale, simply stunning, not just my favorite bond moment, but one of my favorite scenes in a movie ever.

On a sidenote i've been reliably informed the black guy, Sebastian Foucan is one of the parkour/free running pioneers
