Wedding pics - My sister's (KINDA IMPORTANT!)

As usual all very impressive and I'm sure your sister will love them especially after you have processed them fully.

Would agree with the above comments for #7, the lines and positioning of everything in the shot brings your attention to the brides face first, after which you notice the flowers/guests which are all in focus.

Just going through the pics, I did get a pic of No.7 with the bride in focus moments before it left her hand.

and the obligatory back of the dress shot.

This is definitely much better IMO.

There is a couple of lens flares bottom left, easy to deal with.

wonder if her face can be brightened just a touch and a little more details brought out in the sky? But again, uncalibrated work monitor.
EDIT, actually the face does seem well exposed, maybe it just needs a little pop, but this is a minor point.

Introduce me to #8 :) :P

lol, she's now family, my new brother in law's sister.

Very Nice Pics Dude!!

Thanks ! :)

Was there any PP on this image?
Any chance you can enlighten me, as I'm trying out autumn photography and these colours are perfect...
lol.

Thanks, i did play with it a bit in LR but nothing too difficult, the original wasn't too far off so i just added some contrast, saturation and vibrancy really.

I like the shot compositions and ideas. Creatively speaking they all do the job and your sister will be happy with them.

Technically, I find too many blown highlights. I really hope its also my monitors (both) that are doing that as you say further up in the thread. They are the work ones, so maybe you are right.

PS: But when I look at them I find it hard to picture how, lets say #9, the veil and the top right in the trees aren't blown out...or #6, the front of the dress.

PPS: Check the histograms.

As I believe I've said before - I am hiring you for the day I eventually get married!

Stunning pictures, I'm sure your sister will be over the moon. I love the contrast of the red and orange of the Autumn leaves and the crisp white dress :)

Aww thank you, and when you get engaged, call me ! ;)

My sister is happy, yay ! Even the groom's mum is happy ! I can imagine her face when been told that "Her brother is taking pictures of the wedding?!?". lol

Thats the main thing. Glad the added nerves of taking photos for the family didn't affect your style and class of wedding photo. Great job as always with your wedding shots :)

Thanks Derek W.

Trust me, i did have reservations, i kinda was "expected" to do it and say yes. Part of me want to say no, but part of me don't trust who they might end up with, the people's work that I like are way out of their budget so in the end i ended up picking up the camera. The results is worth it though :)
