Graphics card making loud pitched whine

I just tried to install a Radeon HD 5850, but all i get when i switch on the PC now is a very loud pitched whine, any suggestions?
 
I don't cheat...


maybe it was cos of my wireless as it goes weak ever now and than, haven't treid it with my new wireless yet...l4d seems better with it

Try playing Enemy Territory, and see if you whine about PB then, with the constant cpu spikes which cause fps drops, not so bad since I upgraded but for everyone else its still there. Still doesn't even support win7 x64 properly.
 
my issue was I had a very bad wireless (d LINK) and it was only G than again I ve had G wireless since I got the damm boardband and used to play punk buster games without problem...have not treid recently saying that

yeah those loud hissing wooping noises are power shortage to the card, a few times i forgot to connect the pci-e1 and pci-e2 connectors, powered on and i was like wtf :D
