HTC HD2 news release

Slightly worrying with the 1230mah battery on those killer specs though.

Agreed though Izi, I'll be sorely tempted when it comes out :(

I'd love this phone but i'm not a fan of WM. Had my HD touch a while and would love to try an android phone next.
 
HTC sense is just the updated touch flow system (in fact practically identical) so it isn't much different to the original HD (specs aside). There are a lot of people not looking forward to the capactive screen however, slightly faster but far less precise, especially at the moment with the lack of capactive stylus (for games and the internet).:(

The new version of Android was displayed on a phone remarkably similar to the HD2 so I wouldn't be completely suprised if they also release an almost identical phone with the new version of Android. ;)

Indeed. Why don't they stick better batteries on these things? The battery life on my HTC touch diamond is dire.

Windows is fine on my 528(?)MHz cpu.
 
i used windows for 18 months, then bought an HTC hero. its not fashionable, its the truth.

windows sucks compared to web os, android, iphone etc. thats not to say 6.5 is an improvment, and if the new zune is anything to go by windows mobile 7 will be very popular.
 
What WM phones did you use inthose 18 months?

Unfortnately, like vista, some phones were released that were nowhere near powerful enough to be used with WM, which is why for 7 micosoft have set a minimum hardware specification which should stop out all the crud phones.
 
This Snapdragon CPU family seems to be picking up, 1Ghz for a phone!! Next year they will be launching a newer version, dual core @ 1.5Ghz (edit - pinch of salt) :eek:

Ive been looking at this and having owned the brick's that are the P900 and the P990i, this looks Tempting. Although Im not a fan of the widget style phones, I much prefere a menu system like the symbian Os on the P990 had, Only thing with that was its lacked memory. They all seem to be adopting this feature. :/ . and a mate has the Nokia N97 and its a pile of **** as well. so I was awaiting a decent phone with a decent CPU. my contract end in Feb so this should be an Ideal time to snap this up if its anygood.
 
My contract with Orange ends in December and I've decided this is the phone I want. This will mean I'll have to move over to O2 but they offer a much better value pay plan than my current one.

Im very excited to be getting this phone before Christmas :D
