As thread title, at first I thought it wasn't that great
Then playing again and turning the depth up the car became 3d as my eyes (or brain technically) became accustomed to it all.

And I found it really compelling, the game seems so much more real now, crashes are brilliant and the sense of speed increased,

so despite the colours being messed up I think its great, wish I had the £££'s for a 120hz monitor

oh and on 22'' I ended up sitting back more, but in the end it was MORE emersive for it and I can see why people will not go back to '2d' gaming:)

Ditto - can't use 3D stuff as the eyesight in my left eye has never been that great, so my brain predominately uses my right eye (thus I have minimal/no stereo vision, so there's no visible effect to me when using 3D glasses). Not the end of the world though, and I'm still interested in a 120hz monitor down the line for smoother motion in games.

Yep count me in with the one eye'd brigade. My left eye is stupidly short sighted, basically useless. :(

I hope this 3D gaming doesn't catch on, I won't be able to play!!

Not free but damn close to, search an auction site for em, I got two for £1.50

IMO 3D is the right direction, why put up with a 2D world

The problem for isn't the 22" monitors but the low quality currant 120hz screen offer, until this situation changes I won't even consider 3D vision I would much rather have a sharp, clear and responsive traditional LCD.

Buy the Coralina DVD, for £12, you get four sets of glasses free :p

Think you will find that Coralina is the wrong colour lenses.

Coralina ( like Journey to Center of earth and a few others ) use Magenta / Green whereas ( I might be wrong here ) the nVidia 3d Vision and movies like Polar Express use are Blue / red

playing burnout with the nvidia glasses it looks so much better also the game plays better too as yoi can judge ramps better, as for using the shutter glasses on a 120hz monitor all i can say is as soon as i have the funds i will have it, itx that good

You don't fancy doing something daft with the credit card then? ;)

Does anyone know if the proper 3d vision performance hit (had to turn FSAA down from x8 to x4 :D) will be similar or worse than the discover red/blue method?

The red/blue method has gotta be using more GPU resources...

You should have increased the convergence abit and had the rear of the vehicle poking out the screen some.

^ Performance is identical for both btw, i dont use any AA as the 3d has its own natural x2 because of the combining of two images. :)
