Well, as ChazHurst mentioned, I saw the image he linked to on his Flickr and it gave me an idea for a card related shot. I'm sure I've seen something similar done on Flickr before but I couldn't provide a link as I look at hundreds of photos a day on there.
Flickr is a great source of inspiration though.
Yes, it was. Although the idea I really wanted to do involved using a model and having more of a "scene" set up, this was a bit of a test.
Getting the reflection right was bloody difficult. I had a honeycomb grid pointing at the cards and I had to turn the cards slightly towards that. Then it was a case of trial and error, and believe me there were lots of error shots!!

WOW! That is awesome.
Pretty sure I saw a Photoshop tutorial on how to create that smoke effect with the skull.

I think the expression on your dog is brilliant. Its an excellent picture. Had you fitted another lead so that it was heading off to the right, then it would have been outstanding.

hi new to the forum . iv been looking on here for a while and thought id say hi and that id better join in? so im sharing these from my first time in a proper studio for about 7 years. They are of a singer called vix she used to be the singer in girl band fuzzbox. My main passion in photography is shooting bands and promo work.
