26" LCD TV for my room

Hi all.

I'm looking to get a new TV for my room around the 26" mark. I've been looking at the PANASONIC VIERA TXL26X10.

Can anyone comment about this model or have one themselves? Would anyone recommend anything else?

I'm looking at 26" because I'm only going to be viewing from around 2m distance.. so I think 32" is too big?

What do you reckon?

edit: Looking at the £300-£500 range.

I mean I'm going to be using it for PS3 in HD and watching freeview probably. Can you get any full HD tv's @ 26" ? is it worth it or should I just get an HD Ready TV?

So many questions!
 
Also be interested to see if anything gets recommended as looking to change the current 20 inch unit we have in our bedroom.

I'm a panasonic fan so that's in the running at the moment.

Yeh great TV's from what I've seen. I think there's a lot of people who know there stuff around but not many check this sub forum!
 
Posted same question as this in the Console forum prob get barked at to check here but never now might get something so check there to if nothing much happens here...
 
The Benq E2400HD TFT gets good reports for gaming ok so it's not got built in freeview but I guess the TFT is around £180 supports 'full HD' I think and you could always get that PlayTV gizmo to watch TV...

I could be wrong but worth a look at me thinks.
