Didn't realise the sheep shaggin country folk of Wales knew what Apple is! ;):p:D

You and the farmers will be queueing for the free tshirts I guess?!!! :D

Manchester too far? They have two :p

take in to account the traffic it would be over 2 hours driving so yes a closer one than sheffield or manchester both 2 hours drive would be nice, hopefully the Newcastle one will be up and running soon

Do you want a slap? :p

In work today so can't attend the launch.. not unless I can conjure a "I need to go to Cardiff" excuse haha

Leeds is very undernourished in terms of Apple. We either have to go to Manchester or Sheffield and seen as the conurbation of Leeds is just as big as those, we're missing out :(

Didn't want to make a new thread about a similar topic, but who will be going to the opening of the Apple store in Aberdeen then? Me and a couple of mates are planning to go along for a laugh at least, we all secretly want to get rid of our current phones and get an iphone, but the expense!

Apple Store, Cardiff

I was in there yesterday, cringing at the prices and setting the homepages to Ubuntu.com. :) Apple stores are far too cult-y for my liking...

Did anyone get the name of the sales girl with the green hair? She seemed to be the only appealing thing about the store.

Because it's 'cool' probably *sigh* Actually I expect it was for no good reason.

Wow, that's awesome. Seriously though that's cool that you spent your own valuable time changing the homepage of multiple computers to a site that 99% of the people in Apple Stores wouldn't even recognise, let alone be interested in, only for it to be reset within probably ten minutes.

Good effort

I can understand if you had done that in a Windows shop but a shop that stocks computers with operating systems that both run on Unix architecture is a bit...well..lame?
