I had a go at some kid in the street

Only problem i have is the none of you would tell me to pick up the can i drop, but you would to a kid.

I go to college and "hang" about with some 17 year olds, they drop stuff because they can and they dont even think about looking for a bin or carrying it till they do.

Its not about generations because some of the 17 year olds do keep hold of thier rubbish.

Its this old OMG THIS GENERATION KILLED PEOPLE DID CRIME, like generations gone by have been all goody to shoes.
 
of course i would tell a adult / grown man, most of them would be ashamed about it or embarrased. when you get older you really appreiciate lack of litter in clean places.

Are you some kind of massive nitwit or what? It's not about 'standing' up to a kid, its about telling a kid to have some ****** manners and not drop cans outside on the pavement. It's really no more complicated than that. Good old fashioned manners and behaviour, very sadly lacking today. Do you get it now or would you like a translator?

One less coke can outside my house. Another one, or a brick, may just find itself being thrown at my car though, lol.

Thing is, it's not like this coke can is the only time someone has blatantly littered the street. I sometimes find dog crap not scooped up, or beer cans just dumped on front walls. After a while it gets annoying. People just have no respect anymore, and I'm not being old fashioned, it's definitely worse today than it's ever been. Around the country not just my street and a symptom of todays 'couldn't care less about anyone' attitude. The cynical students on this site don't get it though. Perhaps they just need to grow up and stop acting like smartasses..
 
The worst I saw was at college, chav in a hoody, sitting on a bench, through his empty coke bottle into a bush PAST THE BIN. The bin was actually closer and would have required less effort to deliver said bottle to, but he has to be a rebel and sully the environment around him. :(
 
Am i the only one who came in here expecting a tale of the OP hitting on a small child with a cheesy chat up line?
