Hi All,

I just set up my new Lian Li tower and put in the following LCD Panel

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-006-LL

Turned on the PC and everything works fine BUT if i have the 2 case fans plugged into the Panel the LED lights on the fans constantly flash. The manual that comes with this panel is vague at best so i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas?

I'm wondering if it's because i've not got a 3rd fan plugged in but then again there is no alarm going off to say there is a problem

Any thoughts would be great

Ah crap, just found this on another website:

Note: "This fan controller uses pulse width modulation (PWM) to adjust your fan speed. This will cause LED fans to blink."

What a load of crap that is. Doesn't say anything about making your fans have a fit on the overclockers website.

Yeh i think i'll have to. It's a shame though because it looks really nice in my case but i can't really justify £16.99 for a fancy panel that can't plug into my fans without turning it into a disco lol :(

You could always mod your fans, if you feel your skills are up to the challenge.

If they are running ok on the PWM signal being supplied to them then just carefuly disconnect the power supply going to the LEDs from the power supply going to the fan motor. Put in your own wires and molex connectors and you can power the fans and lights seperately.

PK!
