have just ordered this :D

its been a long time since i last brought from ocuk :) but now i think its time to upgrade

my pc has had the same spec since 25 Mar 08 :eek: (the August order was a TV)

my x1950 is getting a bit old now so i thought i would change that, and i have also ordered that thermal tape stuff for my CPU to see how good it is, does anyone use this???
im also wondering if my PSU will cope with this new card, it has 2x12v rail @19A each PSU
if not then i also have a spare corsair 450w but i really dont want to have to use this

have already played batman on my x1950, so with no PhysX or 3D so i may be tempted to play through again :)

EDIT: will also be able to play Resident Evil 5 :D this game seems to hate x1950's

That's adhesive tape, might be pain to get off later on. I'd be doubtful of cooling potential too. I would stick to paste but that's just me.

i have some really cheap paste which dosn't seem to be that good, not sure if i should have used more but i am hoping this tape will be a standalone replacment :)

just looked on the site today now the offers are up and the card i ordered is missing from the site, should i be worried?

someone posted some pictures using a ati card and a nvidia with physX i could not spot the difference. i don't know what all the fuss is about?!
 
Looks like they have sold out on your GPU :(

I would say it has not shipped, you must if just missed out, has happened to me on more than one occassion, not just Ocuk.

i attempted to send a webnote and it seemed to fail when i clicked send (went to page cannot be found screen) and i lost my message so i couldn't repeat send unless i typed it all out again :(

EDIT: this post just gave me a 'database error' took me 3 attempts to post this! whats happening?

If worst comes to the worst just get it sent to your work address if there's no one home to take it, or a neighbour.
