The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

Even though I dont vote for the BNP, I don't quite agree with the fact nick griffin hasnt been able to speak without getting shot down by remarks from other people on the panel.

Seems that the whole program was set up to destroy the guy lol. Zero politics being discussed in this program, just tuned into a slaughter

Q tIME

THE BNP WERE STITCHED UP.

Weather you sgree with there policy or not they were done like a kipper.

I think this is going to end badly - they have the wrong people arguing the fair and honest side of British people, at this stage Nick Griffin can just sit quietly and let the other politicians dig themselved deeper. He's made a decent point that in the moderate English majority is a positive point and he can now sit back and end this discussion on a semi positive note... he's in a win win situation here unless he slips up...

And promptly got put straight by someone who has reason to know better.

Stolly, spot on.

I'm no BNP supporter, but I seem to be defending some of their "ideas" (not the actual views though)
Why does she know more? Because she is black?

She didn't provide any details, just simply said "I know better" ...

Someone please ban him.

Incidently, yes the BNP were stitched up but only the most stupid layman (i.e. the BNP supporters) didn't see it for what it was.

Err he aint right.

Griffin brought it upon himself with such extreme views.

Im proud of the BBC, audience and panel for giving Griffin the hard time he deserves!

What is he ranting about now?
I really cant follow :/

Something about Brits being mainly 17k? years old, even though we have Roman, Saxon, Viking and French blood in many parts.

hmm so he says all Americans should get out of North America except for Native Americans? lol the British are the ones who colonized this place.

what a looney tbh.

It's not the same thing though because we have little church impact on politics.
The archbishop dude (beardy!) gives some political criticism and he's discounted as being irrelevant by most people and media.
We don't need a separation in law because we have one in practice anyway.

Exactly, religion is not a factor in everyday politics, but there is no seperation. The Head of State is also head of the Church, and Bishops sit in the upper house of the legislature. The US system is totally different being organised to seperate religion and state, and yet ironically religion is much more a factor there than it is here.

:p That's what people should be focusing on, rather than wasting their time shouting and booing, just ask the guy questions and, given the racial policies are entirely baseless and irrational, they will be shown to be as such.
