This is built as a drivers car, as are all the Type-Rs, so no doubt why Mugen keep Hondas Type-R ethos.
The journos that have tested it rate it quite highly for what it's intended for. It's not as fast as a Focus RS, but that's not the aim of the car. It's a stripped out track car with high speed cornering and fun in mind.
If it was priced similar to the FRS, I'd choose the Mugen over it for sure. It looks like lairy chuckable fun, right up my street. The price is unforgivable though, but then they did the same in Japan with the Mugen FD2 and that had a higher production run.
