Ok, so is it just me or do you guys work with some women who are just look happy first thing in the morning. They walk in the quiet office and go "MOOOOOOOORNING!!!!! ZOMG!!" at the top of the their high pitched voices....

Its damn annoying...

/endrant

Most women in my office come in and say any of the following...

"Corrr it's cold isn't it?!"
"Argh... I feel like ****"
"Oooohhhh I gotta headache..."
"For **** sake there are some **** drivers on the road today..."
"Ooo I need a coffee - I can't get motivated today..."

Or... my personal favourite...

"... Alright..." (Said in the tone that today is the end of the world)

i work at a it helpdesk so i guess itd wake me up to have a woman scream morning :D, then id say bye

Jaysus... you sure we dont work together? Theres someone at work who does the EXACT same thing.

You can hear a pin drop and then suddenly in a high pitch up beat voice... "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORNING"

(no zomg btw :D)

Well I'm a morning person and by the time I'm in the office usually around 7-715am I'm always bouncing down the corridor down to my office (which is a bit lonely at times :(). But then everyone in my workplace is up early, but most people are grumpy arses no matter what time it is.

So I don't think it's only women, I'm generally a positive person (or like to appear that way). :)

I tend to get grumpy in the evening :p

It's better than coming in and having the grumpy ones say good morning back to you with a simple "eurgh" noise

As soon as I hear a jolly morning person I tend to just collapse with a muffled "oh fer ... sake", smacking my head on the table in hoping that I'll be out cold for at least the next hour. Never works, but stops people talking to me or amuses them for a moment.

Never done mornings, not good with 9am starts anyway. If I have to get up around 6 or so I'm much better for some reason, but normally I get out of bed at 10 to 9 and roll in late.

I can't understand night owls, how can you be happy having wasted half the daylight?! Seeing people and seeing life be lived! Each to their own. ;)

I'd love to feel like I'd prefer to spend my days awake and my nights in bed, but other people ruin that for me. If I lived in a wooden lodge in the middle of the Rockies alone, I might be happier being awake during light hours... As it is, I get more bloody work done when I'm working late shifts.
