Would love to see what one of these are like, i have just used relatively cheap ones in the past. Mind you i can't afford 300 quid just to find out lol.

lol @ price,

i was going to get the G25 but thought i would wait for G27 and get that if its not too expensive, ehm i wasted my time:mad:

£200 more and i can get a real car...:p

Ive got the G25 and its brilliant in my opinion, there is no way that a further £200 which would buy one and a half more g25s is just ludicrous. There is no way it is that much better to justify and anyone buying it really does have more money than sense even if they can afford it!

Would love this but seesm very steep. Saw it in the USA this week in a high street store for $300 + tax (6.5%) so Logitech seem to be copying Adobe in their pricing structure! Well done to Overclockers for stocking it though just in case I win the lottery!

For anyone interested a quick pro/con summary

Pros:

Pedals can now be moved a little, and the accelerator is slightly lower allowing easier heel/toe.

6 buttons on the wheel, instead of 2.

Helical Gearing for smoother / quieter Forcefeedback operation.

Smoother Gearstick operation.

LEDs for indicating RPM.

Cons:

Buttons are a little too close and may be easy to accidentally hit when driving plus there is no tactile difference in them meaning you might have to look to press the right one.

In improving the Gearstick, they removed the sequential shifter option.

Summary

Pedal change is good, Helical gearing is supposidly not that noticeable, LED's I consider a bit of a gimmick, removal of sequential gear shifting isnt good, overall would I pay an extra 200 quid for one..... nope.

As much as I know it to be true I almost wish I hadn't seen the 0 between the 3 and the 9 :(

Also would have preferred 360 compatability to PS3 especialy now with Forza 3.

meh I ll just get the G25, £300 for a steering wheel is a little step hell even £200 is
