There appears to be a slot open in this tournament, and none of the reserves have taken it 
Why don't you treat online (not randoms) and the tournament as just a bit of fun? I'd imagine that missing links that you'd nail offline would be frustrating, and chances are you might lose matches you wouldnt lose offline due to doing less damage and no doubt eating an srk when that happens. But from what i gathered from the console sf4 thread, you're better than Margaret, who i know is a step above everyone in this league. No-one here is going to kid themselves and think they're better than you
I don't play offline myself though, so it's hard for me to know exactly how big the difference is. Doesn't the korean pro Poongko play a lot online too? (and kick ass as he does offline)

Yeah it was me, I haven't been down there in absolutely ages though so I don't know if they are still going on. I will try and find out for you, but the best thing to do is just go inside if you are ever on market street and ask them, I am pretty sure they do hold some sort of SF4 tournys judging by how popular the previous ones were! When you planning on coming down?We should hold a Manchester SF4 meet.
I'll be in Manchester tomorrow with the gf so i'll ask them about if any are coming up
Ggs... Im sure I can do better... I really need to sit down and figure out some of Guiles other anti air stuff.... and calm down a little bit, sometimes I go crazy on sweeps and need to relegate them to MKs or MPs

I don't think i used an antiair ONCE. I didn't even think about zoning you. All i did was try to build up meter for a Super, and even when i got it, i didn't use it like i know i can!
I seem to recall Kreee posting a Guile mini guide, which said to use cr.HP as antiair (flash kick trades too often and gets beaten clean too), and not to use cr.HK (which i should have punished countless times really!).

Cr.HP is anti air, but so is standing MK believe it or not!
I used cr.HK simply because you werent punishing but then there was a stink when you were countering, so I resorted to just MK and LP spam
I have to say Im really ticked off with the fact that Goukens throws gets away with bloody murder...
I have a decent net connection now but tried playing online this evening and even 5 bar connections felt sluggish

Because it messes up my offline play if I dumb down my game, and I play a lot more offline than I will online.

Yeah sure, if I can get online. My internet has been playing up abit so I reset the router and I wasn't able to connect to artheas yesterday at all! And today my PC gave me a message saying hard drive error detected please back up =/ so I might be running into afew problems...
If you see me online however, do send an invite I need to see if I can connect as usual to everyone on the forums.
