Nope. But then we are talking about the legality are we not?

Anyway, no, it wasn't taken on the road to my house. It was.. in Germany. Or something. Does it matter?

I can think of more dangerous things than momentarily resting a camera whilst travelling at 60mph with the cruise engaged on a quiet afternoon.

You should be ashamed of yourself you disgusting human being.

im a geek and take pics of milestones, i even videod mine when it went past 200k, ive got one photo of some mileage but whilst doing a really naughty speed though .

im going to hell too

Firestar got told off by Fox so he's got the hump, and Fox is just being Fox. Did you not read the thread? :p

I wasnt doing up until that point HOWEVER..............

Did a run on the way back from work (rain) using pocket dyno plus this morning, of course this is in NO WAY gospel, but user reviews and website reviews put it to within a couple of tenths of seconds accuracy.............

Book figures are 7.6 seconds to 60, and a 16.1 second quarter mile.

I can post those with hovis if needed ;) and I'd be willing to do it on video as well.

hmmm pretty much spot on then lol

Yes, guess there must be something wrong with reality then, because OCUK says this cant be possible, despite the rest of the world saying it can
;)

I Imagine what will happen next is I'll get tasked with doing drag starts till I fry whats left of my front tires and clutch and posting them on you tube till the car is so trashed its just a pile of molten ****..............

Nobody said it wasn't possible, we said we'd be absolutely amazed if it was possible.

Consider me absolutely amazed :p

I cannot understand how that car does that but obviously it does so

It's only just over a second to 60 off my car and mine has a better power to weight ratio and is considerably more powerful

I personally question the accuracy of anything which relies on accelerometers in a mobile phone.

Useful for back to back runs and improvements or not but as for a baseline figure? Do it properly :p

Fox don't back down that was a good arguement!

Back on topic

53,000 miles Mk4 1.6i Astra ( which now has turned pink ), So far it's cost me a head gasket, 2 sets of pads, Front discs and now a rear wiper some little thieving **** stole off it... Left me the nut and washer to hold it on though. So actually a rather considerate thief.

I dont need to, all I've done is get the figures the manufactures, reviewers (who have used proper timing gear) and and other users claim the car is capable of.
You should argue with Dodge, they also claim their SRT-4 version of the car is capable of doing a standing quarter quicker than a Boxter-s and 350z, and is claimed to generate one of the highest cornering G forces of any mass produced car, all for less than $20,000.
(0-60 in 5.6 seconds, 153 mph top speed, the car dynos anything from 228 to 250bhp at the wheels)

Why is it, that when it comes to cars the dollar to pound exchange rate is around 1 dollar=1.50 pounds :(
