Hi im a nutter, i just ordered it off steam but i want it for the great sp. Them mp was pretty good fun but got bored of it after a while so im not really fussed.

I don't blame you mate it really is a big investment decision lol. How is that £1,000 gaming rig anyway....?

Usually a game price drops within 3 months, so you can get a game for £15 that was £25 not soon after release while console gamers are still paying £40.

Say a console owner buys 10 games a year at £40 each, that's £400. For the same price, us PC gamers who wait can get 25-27 games.

I know what I'd rather do and most PC gamers don't own £1000 rigs. maybe £400-600.

It's pointless if they are just waiting for the price to come down. However, with the various issues being raised this week about the game I think PC gamers are wise to wait until after release to see how things go with multi-player.

I also got it on cheap preorder, and thought the sp for MW1 was awesome, but will cancel my order due to the lack of dedicated servers. I hope IW and other developers get the message that undermining pc gaming will hurt their sales.

Apologies guys but I haven't been following the news on this game. However I did see that the dedicated servers have been scrapped but I thought that was only for the console versions.

I cannot believe that they have scrapped dedicated servers for the PC version too!

How stupid can one publisher/design studio be??!

I must be the only person who signed the petition, agrees with the community's grievances, but will be buying it anyway. The SP in COD4 kept me entertained for days and days, and I'm keen to see whether IW.Net is as bad as everyone's saying it's going to be.

Are PC Gamers so insecure that every thread has to be turned into a PC V Console war??? Play both, best of both worlds. With regards MW2, if you don't like it, don't buy it, move on! I'm sure IW are loving the reaction they've created. I think it's going to be an awesome game.
