Not paying £34 for a game no way sorry. I did this when MW came out, to expensive, waited for about 3-4 months and bought it new of play.com when it had a deal for £14... that £20 i saved went to buy another 2 games that where farely new

I am part of the boycot I dont agree with there choice of removing servers and im not about to buy there game without dedicated servers and freedom for pc modders. I honestly couldnt give a monkeys what you think. I wont be buying it.

COD4 was great because of it's Multiplayer. Don't see how this will succeed without dedicated servers?

I will not be buying, partly because of IW lazy attitude towards simply porting their console multiplayer system rather than implement dedicated servers....but I'm curious if the PC version is also getting lumbered with console control formating as well as a console focused UI.

For some odd reason this whole dogs breakfast is starting to remind me of how Deus Ex 2 turned out to be a console focused mess that ruined the PC original.

You havent played it, either single or multiplayer so wouldnt it make more sense to keep your trap shut until you have actually played it?

What can be more substancial than the lack of dedicated servers? Thats what multiplayer gaming communities are built around on the pc. I want to have a few servers where I can go in and see the same people. And the last time I looked these forums were here to let people voice opinions about subjects, so less of the telling people to shut up.

You must've been playing through it at a snails pace! It was the shortest (albeit really good) single player game (bar Portal but not by much) that I've ever played. Couldn't believe it when it was all over.

Try Crysis WARHEAD
CoD4 lasted me nearly 5hrs compared to just under 4hrs for Warhead iirc.

I must be the only person who signed the petition, agrees with the community's grievances, but will be buying it anyway. The SP in COD4 kept me entertained for days and days, and I'm keen to see whether IW.Net is as bad as everyone's saying it's going to be.
