I think that is a problem with the UK. The Scots, Welsh, English and Irish all have their own identity, but there seems to be no sense of identity to be British or from the UK. I personally think we should have a national bank holiday like the US does with July 7th etc. We need to make our own traditions for this holiday so people know what being British is.

What a vile woman. Griffin was polite to her and she was obnoxious and rude, not just on the show but evidently before it as well.

So what if he was nervous? Is that a crime?! He deserves respect for having the balls to get up there and stand up for what he and many of us believe in. In front of an almost entirely hostile, handpicked by the BBC, audience and panel.

Seriously, what the hell? Would you, in the position of that lady, have behaved any differently? Given what he has said and believes!
