Ah got screen to work. I changed the screen output (suggestion from other thread!)

but now it says - reboot or select proper boot device????

How do you boot?

I put in my utilities disk but what next... I was expecting bios screen but it just said reboot with correct disc???....

Start computer, when you get to BIOS introduction screen press del key or F3 to enter BIOS screen, change the start-up sequence to CD-ROM 1st then HDD-0 2nd, make sure your operating CD-ROM is in your DVD drive and restart. Computer will then first boot from your DVD Drive and will proceed to install your operating system, from then on just follow any on-screen prompts. When operating system has been installed put all your Motherboard drivers in first then remaining component drivers can then be installed (This is how I have always installed software for my new builds and never had any problems)

As it happens I am building my new computer tomorrow with a Coolermaster "Sniper" Case, will be doing a Thread on my build in the Cases section when finished...

was then gonna post the same as above. look on the msi site for updated drivers aswell once you get up and running. forgot to mention to get your ram to work at 1600mhz your probably gonna have to change a setting in the bios i'll post up a couple of pics later on to show what setting to change.

wouldnt go into bios screen mate, so i have just stuck in windows 7 and now tis loading..i may be up a bit longer... going to get a top of of wine while i wait .. !! :-)

btw - made up with niose... can hardly hear pc... it purr's !! quite proud of myself.. ...and just as i type this it goes under load.. lol!!!!

If your installing Win7 some of the drivers might install along with it

32 or 64 bit.

when i was using the beta of win7 it loaded the graphics and sound drivers on install. It's always best to get the latest drivers from the manufacturer though

You will get that until you install graphics drivers.

You know I have come from a (which I am on now) acer travelmate laptop... p4 with no graphics card.... to this... so I am looking forward to playing a few games.

Hopefully the 5850 wont let me down.
