Man 'strangles dog' after park attack

So, what's the big problem? His dog attacked a child and he put it down. I fail to see the problem here!

Surely you understand that slaughtering a dog in the middle of a park infront of kids wasn't the right way to handle this, I agree that the dog should have been put down but not like that

Would you not find it a little odd if you saw a guy in a park strangling his own dog? :p

Yeah it would be a little strange, but then if I was in that park and the vicinity of that incident I'd no doubt know why he was killing the dog. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest, I've seen far worse things.

Come on, he hardly "slaughtered" it. It's not like he ripped the things throat out and left it to bleed to death in front of the kids, he strangled it. The truth probably is that most of the children present were more concerned about their mate who'd just got savaged than what the bloke with the dog was doing and so probably never saw it happen.

If i was in the park id have got the dog out the bin and chucked it in the freezer for Sunday.

he was right to end the mutts life (im a dog owner by the way) but wrong to do it in the park, but part of me understands why he did it, i don't believe he should be punished he acted in the right way in the wrong time, if you catch my drift

Yeah, why not. After all, you can't say it's not fresh. Personally though, I'd nick it, spray it white and then hide in bushes to drag it through the park on a cunningly crafted pulley system and fishing line.

You can't seriously be comparing strangulation to pentobarbital? Not to mention the kids having to experience the trauma of seeing an animal being killed in front of them.

Oh noes!!! The children might actually see real life! Quickly, you must wrap them back up in that cotton wool blanket.

Trauma? Give me a ****ing break, we had a school trip in the 2nd year of Junior school where we watched ickle baby lambs getting slaughtered. Guess what? Not a single kid in the class was traumatised by it!

It's one fallacy after another with you.
