I am in need of some cup headphones for £30 or under for my ipod touch.

I listen to drum & bass also dubstep so needs to have some bass to it.

Already looked at the goldring range but doesn't have any bass to it.

All help with be great thanks.:)

you don't want earbuds? Creative EP-830 are very cheap and quite good for the money, nice in the bass department IMO as well.

Only other thing that comes to mind are skullcrushers, they have loads of bass but are truly dreadful in oh so many ways.

I know they're not cans but I had the CX-300II by sennheiser and they were quite good and can be had for exactly £30 now. Good bass on them.

Koss Porta Pro and Sennheiser PX-100 are great, but if you prefer ear buds, then I would go with the Yuin PK3 (which are quite hard to find, and may warrant a visit to a certain auction site).

Sanyo PH220, can be had for £10 on ebay. Amazing for money and last ages, i'm on second set in 8 years! Would have to spend big to get a better sound.

agreed plus the koss ksc75 ,the px100s are amazing value (the white ones can be had for £24 ish) not sure if the mk2s are available in the uk yet? but they sound excellent even after a session with my ultrasones (a lot of leakage though)

I beg to differ, have you heard goldring DR150's?

Listen to the tune in my sig, lots going on below 50Hz...

EDIT: Skullcandy? Looks like I was too late! :D

Can you post a pic as they look totally awesome dude! :p

Should i cancel my order then?
Can go up to £35.

Honestly i would, ive been into headphones for afew years now and the suggestions given to you are excellent ,the biggest bang for buck ive had (as they say on headfi) was the koss ksc75, it sent me on an expensive journey

Sorry i only have £35 due to having to pay a silly amount to rma my psu.
I don't really like the look of the koss ksc75 if i'm honest.(looks are important to me as i will use them on public transport.)

Fair enough. Speaking of looks, I went into my local supermarket earlier, and this kid had full size headphones on. Gotta say, he looked a bit of a tool. Portable did not spring to mind when I saw those.

I can't recommend any from experience. Sennheiser HD228 might be worth considering. About £35 on a headphone site I looked at. Closed, and has reasonable bass according to some comments on Head-fi. They look pretty good imo. But they are not easy to drive apparently, so that could be a minus depending on whether or not the iPod Touch has any problems driving them.

I don't know if there is a great choice of cupped closed over ear phones, that sound great, have plenty of bass, look snazzy for the for fashion conscious and cost £35.

The Skullcandy phones do all that, except the sounding great part. There are much better sounding phones available for £35, but they might not be what the OP is looking for in other areas, styling etc.

There are also the HD218, I think they are closed. Might be worth having a look at them.

i'm sure headphones are fashion accessories to most people. the amount of people i see around town wearing huge monstrosities around their neck but never actually listening to them......
