CLOCKS BACK (thiis weekend)

Just been speaking to a friend about when the clocks go back and then we somehow got into a discussion about what happens when twins are born.

E.g. The first twin is born at 1:59am and the second twin is born at 1:01am, but the second twin will look older on paper (being born on the same day) but is actually two minutes younger... ahhh

Would that be how their time of birth appear on the birth certificate?

First twin born at 00:59GMT, second at 01:01GMT i suppose, or something along those lines.

Does it look like this is posted before "Witchcraft" then?

Edit: Nope - what's up with that then? It says 01:10 by my computer clock....

I was just working on my machine and thought that it was time to go to bed as it was pushing 2am. I then do a double-take - it was 2am, right?!

I just lived this hour! WTF?

I love the clocks back. Despite my significant drinking tonight i can actually think about getting up at 8:30 without being utterly destroyed. <3 winter.

Oh my - I was getting a pint of water in the kitchen and suddenly the clock started turning back itself - whilst I realised what happened (radio controlled) I was quite scared for those brief few seconds.

Time's just an abstract theory. It depends on whether you think of 2am as being in the past (temporal fact) or if you believe that then now and later are all epistemological realities in which case it may be in the future but we just know less about it in comparison to the last 2am.

Microsoft failed.

I synched my clock then a few hours later it looked like I'd seen that hour go past not too long ago, checked and it was 1 hour behind.

When I synched the time it must have turned back the clock an hour... then at 2am it turned it back another hour... wut?

Right click on time in systray, select 'time zone' tab, make sure GMT is selected, tick box at bottom 'Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes'
