Hi,

Sold my copies of COD1 + 2 years ago, but really fancy playing cod2, found cod2 for between £8 - £10. I looked on steam and found a thing called the War chest where you get Cod 1 + cod 2 and united offensive for £30.

Is this a fair price?

Are there still a lot of servers playing cod 1, UO & Cod 2?

You could probably pick up the Call of Duty Deluxe Edition (Includes Call of Duty 1 and United Offensive) for £5 or so.
Then you just need to buy Call of Duty 2 which'll probably be £8 or so.

good call, are people still playing these games? What really has hit home is the fact that these games are only from 2006, and yet we are looking at cod 6 lol, CSS is still vastly popular and that came out 2004!!!

Are people still defo playing cod 1 + cod2? It's not just gonna be me alone on servers?

Haven't played COD1 nor UO online for quite some time, but I still play COD2 and there are quite a few players around :)

30 seems a bit much when you could probably get COD1 + UO + COD2 all for around 15 quid.

I just bought Hitman: Blood Money for £2.93 retail, so if Activision were reasonable, something as old and **** as CoD 1 would be about £1.99, but seeing as they're worthless bellends £30 is probably the best you'll get. :/

He probs was referring to the Steam release date :D

Well even so, CSS hit the stores in 2004 if I remember correctly and that still has thousands upon thousands of servers, so I'm hopeful there will still be some UK servers to play on.

Also going to re-install Soldier of Fortune 2, hope it runs on Win 7 :)

I think im going to order the games through a normal shop, found a new sealed copy of cod 1 + UO for £6.60 delivered. There are cheaper used ones but I don't wanna risk them being punkbuster banned.

But there hasn't been a new release of Counter Strike, whilst with COD there has ;)

Therefore, most will stop playing the older game and move to the newer one.

Oh yeh true, forgot about that! Well just ordered Cod deluxe edition for £6.60 new, hopefully there will be a handful of servers for me to play on! I remember trying SOF2 in 2007/2008 and there were a few servers still to play on so hopefully Cod1 will not be dead :)

Just e-mailed a seller about cod2 - just wanna confirm it isnt PB banned first. Then I'll order that!

I wouldn't be too dissappointed about a lack of servers in COD1 or UO because the single player is excellent. COD2 still has some multiplayer life left in it :)
