Hello,

I've read that Win7 supports dual graphics cards. I can get hold of a spare ATI 3650 PCI-e card. Anyone know if I add this to my system :

1.) My Nvidia 260GTX will still work fine for games with no loss of performance.
2.) I can attach another 2 monitors to the new 3650 so I can have 3 screens in total? (I don't need 3 screens in games, just for desktop use).

Thanks.

Just tried it and it works fine. Running a Nvidia 260gtx for my main monitor, and 2 aditional monitors off an ATI 3650!

It was a bit temperamental in Vista for me.

i must admit, my multiscreen experience with vista was relatively limited (my Desktop only ran it for about a week or so before i went back to XP Pro x64) but during that time i never noticed problems with multi-screen-screensavers.
some (read: many) 3rd party screensavers didn't work on more than one screen but all the microsoft ones did.

obviously, they worked fine in XP x64 and they work fine now in 7.

could anyone answer a problem for me, i have 2 screens. My left screen is off to the side at an angle, my primary screen is strsight in front on me for games etc.

The problem i'm having since going to win7 is that i cant set the left screen as the first monitor, it always defaults the primary as first so when i try to scroll across across to the next screen i ahve to go the wrong way =/ ,really annoying and i didn't have this issue in vista or the win7 beta

IN the monitor properties don't you just drag one monitor to the other side or something and it re-arranges them?

Not sure how useful this is, but could be to some people: Windows key + P :)

I've got 2 TFT's and a PJ connected to my system and I basically just used ultramon for its profiles, but win key + P lets me switch between the 2 TFT's and the PJ perfectly :)
