Watching paint dry

I'v just spray painted something and i now need to cover it in sticky back plastic.
1 - How long will it take to dry fully (it's now dry to touch, but will it still be curing and need to breathe?)
2 - Where can i buy a long roll of sticky back plastic? I need at least 170x30cm and, ideally, i need it by tuesday so not an interweb site if possible.
