what is your newspaper of choice?

Usually the Inde, now boycotted ad infinitum. So back to Guardian.

(At uni used to read Inde, Guardian and Times as they were student prices).

Independent is my newspaper of choice.

Few of the guys at work read the Sun and Mirror - I don't trust a newspaper you can read and fully absorb all of its "news" in 10-15 minutes.

The Sun once argued in a defamation law suit that 'our readers don't really believe anything we write' - I think that speaks for its quality quite well :D

Generally, The Times. I sometimes glance at the Grauniad if I want a really good laugh.

Regarding British papers I would take the Guardian over the Times purely on the basis that I prefer not to buy Murdoch owned media.

In Ireland, the Irish Times. Easy, not that I have anything against the Independent.

For American media the I suppose New York Times. Yes, I know I'm a hypocrite but there isn't anything that can compare to the Times. It is quite simply the national paper of record.

The only paper I buy is the Irish Times and that is occasionally. I just read the rest online.

So who's going to be the first to say the mail? :p

I don't tend to read papers, but if I did the Guardian or the Times.

I tend to read the guardian about 3 times a week, but don't mind reading the times and when at University would quite often pick up both for the bargin price of 40p. The Times' sport section is a lot better than the guardian's though, but I really enjoy g2.
