DICE Takes The Cake

I've always prefered the BF series over COD anyway but i can't get BFBC as being for consoles out of my head. That asside "thanks Dice for keeping it real" :)
 
Ah man it makes me smile smile smile when i see posts like this.... Been saying all along that COD would screw the PC gamer!!!

What is with you guys? MW1 was an incredible multiplayer game, bad company one was consoley poo.

I don't understand why people are excited about bad company 2, it's just an average shooter. Nothing compared to what mw2 could have been.

how dont you understand why people are excited about Bc 2 ? its not just an average shooter.

Battlefield is a lot different to the Cod series, cod is just trying to copy BF in my opinion.

You are extremely deluded if you think bad company is like battlefield 2. It's not, it's completely different. It scored 82 on metacritic http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/battlefieldbadcompany

Good, but nothing special. Now what makes it really uninteresting is it's a console game. It's effectively battlefield 2 for consoles. More arcadey, less people, smaller maps, less depth.

I find it quite depressing people are getting excited about a massively average release, with average features. Simply because it has dedicated servers. It is certainly no consolation (excuse the pun) for the murdering of the cod franchise for the PC.

Dice have told us that they are reintroducing BF elements that were lost in the development of BC, and that the PC version is not a mere copy and paste port. From what I've seen there is good reason to get a little excited about it. BC had some interesting mechanics and this seems like a much refined version.

Sure it's not BF2, but it's not a complete departure from series, it's looking like a nice spin off.

It's looking like a fine game, at the very least it will be a nice distraction until BF3 :)
