New Porsche 997 Turbo launch control demo 0-100km/h in 3.2s

What makes 911's so special is their ability to do this lap after lap, day after day, week after week and year after year within regular service intervals and at the same level of performance. Many people forget that Porsche track history comes from building bullet proof track specials that will do what they do for 10 years, hell even 20 years without needing much more than pads, disks and some oil changes, maybe the odd LSD and shocker. No caveats, no warranty issues, does what it says on the tin, especially the GT versions over and over again without owners having to worry they have to visit the dealer after 2 laps.

Thats so impressive... Doesnt even make a song and dance about it. Typical german engineering, Gets the job done and done rather well.

If he says Nissan GTR then I'm getting my best keyboard out.

I like your sense of humour.

3.2s is absolutely savage though and makes sense given both cars are FWD and govern roughly the same power, weight difference aside. Anyway, I'll be credited for turning this into a classic VS battle, despite the fact everyone is thinking it.

What? Retired youtube posters?

Muncher is a respected poster with a credible standing in the performance car community. You?

I'm sure he is and that comment was more to vent out frustration regarding posters in the other thread. Then again, it's pretty obviously I was referring to the GTR whether you have read my previous posts are not. Don't want any arguments as for once I haven't said anything too ridiculous this time.
